Locally sourced refreshments, good tunes and gardening workshops: Register for Soil Festival 2017

Soil Festival 2017 is just nearly one week away, and we are so excited to have the local food community come out for such a wonderful event connecting gardeners to resources and tools to grow their gardens and healthy food.

From community gardeners, backyard gardeners, school gardeners and urban farmers, this will be a true community event for Atlanta’s growers.

During this year’s festival, there will be great tunes playing all day thanks to DJ Swift, heavy refreshments sourced locally from our caterer Mwandisha Gator of 2 Pieces of Toast, tasting stations with yummy treats from local food artisans and a variety of educational workshops, children’s activities and exhibitors.

Gardeners who come out for the festival will have the opportunity to take home a bag of organic compost and can be eligible to win a direct delivery a cubic yard of organic compost for their garden.

We hope to see you come out for our third annual Soil Festival on Saturday, May 6 from 1pm to 5pm at Truly Living Well’s Collegetown Farm.

In the meantime, make sure to register for the festival, and come ready to roll up your sleeves, dig in, and learn about where good, healthy food comes from.
