6th Annual Georgia Farm to School Summit


Presented by Georgia Farm to School Alliance, hosted by Georgia Organics.

The Farm to School movement connects schools and local farms in an effort to serve healthy meals in school cafeterias, improve student nutrition, and increase farm and gardening educational opportunities. This year’s Summit welcomes farmers, teachers, school nutrition staff, students, parents, and others interested in learning more about Georgia’s farm to school community.

Summit highlights to include:

  • A variety of hands on and educational workshops featuring experts and leaders from across Georgia
  • Dynamic field trips
  • Networking with experts at the state, district, and school level that will inspire and help further your community’s work

Interested in leading an educational session or workshop at the Summit? The Georgia Farm to School Alliance invites individuals and organizations to submit proposals through this request for proposals form. The deadline to submit a proposal is Weds., March 1.

The Georgia Farm to School Summit is coordinated by the Georgia Farm to School Alliance, a network that joins statewide agencies working in food, farming, and nutrition to coalesce resources and support for Farm to School, and to create a dialogue for building statewide programming.
