FeedATL is a weekly program taking place all Summer long, made possible by our partnership with the Food Well Alliance. We will be working with a hand-picked cohort of urban farmers who work hard every day to bolster Atlanta’s local food ecosystem.

Head to Tucker to visit our second Grow With The Flow farm site for an evening of good garden vibes. You’ll meet Roger, our partner farmer, and learn about his family’s important role in the urban farm and food infrastructure community of DeKalb County. You’ll also get your hands dirty in the garden and you’ll get to meet like-minded folks in a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere.

For the service part…

This is our second visit to one of Roger’s Grow With The Flow farm sites but the first visit to this particular one. We will assist with all kinds of fun gardening tasks like harvesting summer crops, pulling weeds from the ground, prepping the ground for new crops, and other important TLC for the farm. No experience necessary, but if you have some garden skills we will gladly take them!

Project will kick off at 5pm and go until around 7:30pm.

For the social part…

When we finish working, our group will head around the corner to the Tucker Brewing Company Beer Garden for some well-deserved drinks and bites. Your first round is on us, as a thank you for your efforts!
